ROLE DUTIES

1. Meeting with customers over the phone, email, or on site to assist in technical aspects of business development;
2. Managing and interpreting customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs;
3. Researching options and requesting quotes for outsourced components of projects or custom products;
4. Maintaining records of customer communication and sales activity and established internal communication systems;
5. Attending and/or participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
6. Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising client potential in designated regions;
7. Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
8. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services;
9. Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
10. Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
